I got involved in Just Treatment because I do not believe people should be denied critical, life-changing medication because pharmaceutical companies are charging exorbitant prices.

I had to wait over a year before I was finally offered medication. This delay was caused by the drug’s high price which resulted in the NHS was rationing access. This caused me serious anxiety and fear for my family.

Right now the government is complicit in this problem - they should be doing more to challenge the pharmaceutical companies. Defending the NHS is a matter of life and death. Everyone has the right to health and a decent quality of life.
