Hi, I’m May and I’m Just Treatment’s Senior Organiser for Youth Mental Health. 

Prior to joining Just Treatment in January 2024, I spent over a decade campaigning for youth mental health on both a national and local level. I began campaigning at the age of 14, and have not stopped! 

I know personally the impact that poor mental health can have, and how the systems in place fail people on a daily basis. I am passionate about improving provision for young people, particularly those who have more severe mental illness. 

I have been shortlisted for a Liberty Human Rights award for my work, as well as a Mind Media award. I have been awarded TalkTalk’s Young digital hero award as well as a Diana Award.
